As we have prepared for this week's worth of events, the time has come for the 2018 Alternate Jersey Hall of Fame announcement. There is one lone inductee this year, a first ballot nominee. It marks the fourth such time in which a franchise has multiple jerseys inducted. In this case, it is improved from its predecessor and as such, was chose by the selection committee. Please welcome the 2009/10 - 2014/15 Colorado Avalanche alternate jersey.
As we consider that new jerseys will be introduced to the NHL as a result of the switch to Adidas, it will be interesting to see which will be the crowning jewels of this era. We are exited to bring you this coming Monday's festivities!
